FAQ's

What is mild Charismatic?

We believe in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinth 12:8-10 & 1 Pete 4:11) as well as all the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 & Matt 7:15-20) and their valid activity today. We believe they should be practiced decently and in order (1 Coro 14:40). We believe that the Spirit of God would never contradict or supercede the Word of God (2 Tim 3:16-17).

                                                                      What is Patriarchical?

We are proudly patriarchical. We believe in science and that God has designed two biological genders: male and female. The Scriptures supercede cultural norms, never the other way around. Men, women, and children have some differences and similarities, but all are instructed to love one another.  The Bible contains some different job descriptions for husbands, wives and children (1 Corinth 1:3 & 11:3 Ephesians 5:20-33 & 6:14, Colo 3:18-19, 1 Tim 2:4-5 & 2:11-15, as well as 1 Peter 3:1-7). We reject the false teaching that takes Galatian 3:28 out context. Galatians 3:28 demonstrates that Christ's salvation is equally available to everyone. We reject the false teaching of taking Ephesians 5:21 out of context from Ephesians 5:1-21. Ephesians 5:21 instructs believers to get along with one another. Ephesians 5:21 does not instruct husbands and wives to submit to each other. Galatians 3:28 does not void New Covenant gender roles for men, women and children in the family and in the assembly.  The Bible contains some different roles for men, women, and children in the assembly (John 8:17 & 2 Coro 13:1 ) such as apostles (Matt 10:2-4, Acts 1:26 & 9:15), elders (I Tim 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9), and teachers of the believers at large (1 Tim 2:12 & 11:15).

                                                                       What is Evangelical?

Jesus gave us the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20 & Mark 16:15-18). We first train Christians on how to share our faith, then send them out in groups of two (with over sight) to both share and demonstrate the good news of the kingdom. Jesus lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins  and drew all judgement to himself. Jesus was buried, and then rose from the dead three days later. In so doing he provided proof that  he was God in the flesh. Jesus holds the keys of Death and Hades. He overcame both.  Everyone who confesses their sin and believes that Jesus is God receives eternal life now and furthermore after they die. Jesus allows us to share in his Triumph. Moreover, we currently have full access to God's Kingdom which we can function in and advance to help fulfill the Great Commission.

                                                                What is 1 Corinthians 14:26?

We believe everyone has something of value to share and that 1 Corinthians 14:26 commands this to be done when the believers assemble. Some one may have a praise report, another thanksgiving, another a poem, another a hymn, another an exhortation, and another a spiritual song. This is a spiritual pot luck wherein the believers have opportunity to share and to build each other up.
